Who do I invite?

An event is coming up. Time is winding down and you're still stuck on who to invite. Here's a tip to prioritize your list, Start with your inner circle of friends and family, your must haves. Those persons that have to be there. The ones that will call in sick, take vacation or do whatever they have to, just to be there. Then move to the outer circle of friends and family, those who love to get dressed and go out and don't mind coming to your function, even if it's just because they desperately need to get out of the house or they are curious to see what you've got going on. Lastly there's the plus ones, acquaintances, family friends and even estranged family members that aren't that close, Once you've finished writing al the names down, add about 10 more persons to your list for Vendors and last minute additions. Next, start getting pricing on headcounts from Venues or Caterers. Now that you have an average cost per person, re-visit our list to see how many people you would like to Cater for based on the Venue and Food part of your budget. If you find the need to reduce your numbers, you can now start crossing off names from the bottom of the list and move up until you are satisfied with the number.
